We are here to help and give some tips on maintenance for your garage door and opener. This summer's pre-inspection should be as follows:<br /><br />1. Close door, pull rope to use door manual lift. Is it heavy? Does it stick or bind? Try oiling all moving parts with 3 in 1 oil, sewing machine oil or pump can action (like the Tinman in The Wizard of Oz)<br /><br />2. Check the safety reverse of the opener.
